\n\nWhen I originally published ForeSight in 1986 I thought it should be accompanied by a decent solo adventure to introduce mechanics (I was very impressed by the solo adventure included in Victory Games's James Bond 007) but I didn't think it belonged in the rulebook itself (I was a purist) and I thought the adventure should be a better adventure. In the end, I think I created a pretty good solo adventure, but it did a lousy job of introducing game mechanics.\n\nAnyway, while spelunking my archives, I discovered an interactive HTML version of Solo on Simiolus that I created automatically from a HyperCard version back in 1996 (yup, prepare your eyeballs for 1996 markup). I've made no changes except to the start page (I changed its heading and added a note). For your edification, here is Solo on Simiolus for the web.\n\n(The image above was a quickly knocked together replacement for the aircar image from the 1996 GIFs. It really needs to be grunged up and stuff like smoke and wreckage added to the cityscape — something beyond the scope of 30 minutes of diddling around in C3D. I decided to leave everything as it was rather than replace images I now find faintly embarrassing. In any event, the aircar is the least embarrassing image.)","$updatedAt":"2024-06-05T09:10:30.271+00:00",path:"solo-on-simiolus",_created:"2024-07-09T20:30:28.475Z",id:"3845",_modified:"2024-07-09T20:30:28.475Z","$id":"3845",_path:"post/path=solo-on-simiolus"}}
