I briefly enabled users to register with this blog, allowing stuff like easier commenting. Literally every single “person” who registered appears to have been a comment spammer (some had great names, like “onlinepharmacy”) — as evinced by the sum total of zero comments posted by them. (Well — not counting posts automatically blocked by Akismet, I guess.)
So, no great loss.
